This is a 7.4V 2000mAh (14.8Wh) Li-ion replacement battery for the Tactilion P2000L mobile payment terminal. It fits the P2000L directly and uses OEM part number 335880. Swap it in when the original cell no longer holds charge through a full merchant shift.

Payment terminal rebooting mid-transaction after battery swap
The P2000L's receipt printer motor pulls a short current spike — typically 1.5–2A — each time it fires. On a new battery with a conservative BMS, that spike can trip the overcurrent threshold before the BMS learns the load profile. This usually clears after two or three full transaction cycles as the BMS adjusts its overcurrent window. If reboots continue past five transactions, check that the battery contacts are fully seated and the terminal firmware is current.
P2000L not powering on after sitting unused in storage
Li-ion cells left uncharged for several months can drop below 2.5V per cell — the point where most BMS circuits lock the pack into a protection state and refuse to discharge or charge normally. Plug the terminal into its dock and leave it on charge for at least 90 minutes before attempting to power it on. Most BMS circuits will accept a slow trickle charge from the dock and recover the cell voltage above the 3.0V unlock threshold. If the terminal still shows no response after two hours on the charger, the original cell is likely below recovery voltage — this replacement pack starts at a safe storage charge and will not exhibit this fault.
