This is a 29.6V 2500mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Taurus Unlimited 29 and Esential 25.6 cordless stick vacuums. It slots into the same battery bay as the original and connects through the same BMS handshake the charger expects. Order this when the original cell no longer holds a usable charge.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
The Unlimited 29 motor draws more current when airflow is restricted — a clogged filter forces the motor to work harder, pulling the cell voltage down faster than normal. The battery indicator reads state-of-charge, not motor load, so it can still show mid-range while suction is already weak. This looks like a dying battery but is often a filter problem. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest suction before replacing the cell.
Motor cutting out mid-clean and then recovering after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a flat battery. When the Unlimited 29 motor sustains a high draw — usually from a partial blockage or a heavily loaded carpet pass — the BMS cuts output to protect the cell. The trip resets automatically once current drops, which is why the vacuum restarts on its own. Clear any blockage in the nozzle or hose, check the filter, and confirm the cell voltage reads at least 25V on a multimeter before ruling out the battery.
