TECCPO TDAB03G Series — 28V Li-ion Replacement Battery (TDBP02G)
This is a 28V, 4000mAh Li-ion replacement battery for TECCPO cordless stick and handheld vacuums. It fits the TDAB03G, TDHT01G, TDLM01G, and TDLT01G models. The OEM part number is TDBP02G.
- TDAB03G and TDHT01G platform compatibility: These models share the same 28V battery rail, TDBP02G connector layout, and BMS handshake protocol. Swapping between them requires no modification — the voltage and communication lines are identical across the range.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge cycles on a TDAB03G unit and monitored the BMS response under simulated floor and carpet loads. The BMS held steady at rated voltage under normal draw and tripped correctly when current exceeded the rated threshold — no false cutoffs during testing.
- Dock charging habit for these vacuums: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock after it reaches full charge. TECCPO cordless vacuums on continuous dock charge develop capacity fade significantly faster than units charged only when the battery is depleted. Charge to full and remove from the dock.
Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low
This is a voltage sag issue, not always a dead battery. When the filter is partially blocked, the motor draws more current than rated to maintain airflow. That elevated draw causes the battery voltage to sag early, and the vacuum interprets the sag as low charge. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction recovers and the battery indicator stabilises, the cell is not at fault. If the sag persists on a clean filter, the original cell has lost capacity and the voltage can no longer sustain motor demand above 24V under load.
Motor cuts out mid-clean then recovers after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a charging fault. When suction is restricted — blocked nozzle, saturated filter, or heavy carpet fibres — the motor pulls sustained current above the BMS threshold. The BMS cuts the circuit to protect the cell, then resets after the overcurrent condition clears. Clear the blockage and check the filter before assuming the battery is faulty. If the cutout continues on an unblocked clean path, verify resting voltage sits at or above 25.2V before the next use.
