Tineco Pure One A90S — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery (ZB2481-7S1P-01B)
This is a 25.2V 3800mAh lithium-ion battery for the Tineco Pure One A90S cordless stick vacuum. It replaces OEM part ZB2481-7S1P-01B when the original no longer holds a working charge. The battery slots directly into the A90S power bay and communicates with the vacuum's onboard BMS.
- Pure One A90S platform fit: The A90S uses a 7-cell series pack at 25.2V nominal — that voltage rail matches the motor driver board's input spec and the BMS handshake the charger expects. Swapping a lower-voltage or non-communicating pack will cause the vacuum to refuse to start.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through repeated high-suction draws simulating carpet and hard floor mode. The BMS held steady through motor-start inrush current and triggered protective cutoff only at the correct low-cell threshold — no premature trips during normal use.
- Dock charging practice for the A90S: The A90S charger does not step down to a true maintenance rate once the pack is full. Leaving the vacuum on the dock continuously pushes trickle current into a topped-out cell and accelerates capacity fade. Charge to full, remove the vacuum from the dock, and store it off the charger.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
This happens when the filter is partially blocked — the motor works harder to pull air through restricted pathways, drawing more current than rated. The BMS reads the elevated draw as a low-cell condition and begins throttling motor power before the indicator catches up. The indicator tracks pack voltage, not actual cell state under load, so the two can diverge. Clean or replace the filter and re-run the vacuum — suction should recover and hold across a full charge cycle.
Motor cuts out briefly then recovers during use
A momentary cutout that self-recovers points to a BMS overcurrent trip — the motor hit a sustained high-draw condition, the BMS opened the discharge circuit, then reset once current dropped. On the A90S, a blocked inlet or compacted filter is the most common trigger. The BMS itself is not faulty; it is responding correctly to an overload condition. Clear the blockage, check the filter, then confirm resting pack voltage is above 24.0V before resuming use.
