Toshiba Satellite Click Mini L9W-B — 3.75V Li-ion Replacement Battery (T8T-2)
This is a 3.75V, 5200mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Toshiba Satellite Click Mini L9W-B 2-in-1 hybrid tablet. It replaces OEM part number T8T-2. The original battery in this device degrades over time and is not user-swappable without a full cell replacement like this one.
- Satellite Click Mini L9W-B fit: Both the standard and 8.9" variants of the L9W-B share the same 3.75V battery rail, connector pinout, and BMS handshake. This cell slots into either without modification.

This gives the fuel gauge IC a full reference cycle against the new cell and clears the inaccurate percentage readings that typically appear straight after a swap.
Satellite Click Mini L9W-B shutting down between 15–25% remaining
This shutdown pattern is a voltage cliff, not a battery fault. When the display backlight and Wi-Fi radio draw current simultaneously, the cell voltage drops sharply at the low end of the charge curve. The BMS reads that dip as a critically low voltage event and cuts power before the percentage display reaches zero. Running one full calibration cycle — full discharge to shutoff, then uninterrupted charge to 100% — trains the fuel gauge IC to track the new cell's curve and pushes the real cutoff point closer to 0%.
Fast charging not resuming after battery replacement on the L9W-B
Some users find the device reverts to slow charging after a battery swap even when using the original charger. The charge IC needs at least one accepted full charge cycle before it re-enables higher-rate charging with a new cell. Plug in using the original Toshiba adapter, leave the device idle, and let it complete a full charge to 100% without interruption. After that cycle completes, faster charging typically resumes at the expected input rate.
