The Tecra 8200 BIOS reads health data stored in the old pack's EEPROM and compares it against the new cell's charge profile. Because the new cell has no accumulated cycle data, the BIOS flags it as degraded until the learn cycle completes. This is a firmware interpretation issue, not a fault with the replacement cell. Run one full discharge to hibernate-cutoff followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% — the health warning clears after that cycle resets the BIOS battery data.

This happens when the fuel gauge IC hasn't yet calibrated its model against the new cell's actual discharge curve. The displayed percentage and the real remaining capacity are out of sync, so the BIOS hits its low-voltage protection threshold while the OS still shows capacity remaining. It is not a defective cell. Run two to three full discharge-to-hibernate then charge-to-100% cycles — by the third cycle the fuel gauge IC recalibrates and the shutdown point aligns with what the screen shows.
