This is a 14.4V, 9000mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Trifo VIVA robotic vacuum cleaner. It carries OEM part number VIVA1-4S2P-LG and fits the VIVA platform directly. Swap it in when the original cell no longer holds enough charge to complete a cleaning cycle.
- Trifo VIVA platform fit: The VIVA runs a 4S2P lithium cell arrangement that sets the 14.4V nominal rail. The BMS on this pack uses the same handshake protocol the VIVA charging dock expects, so the dock recognises the battery and initiates a proper charge cycle without error codes.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on a VIVA unit. The BMS held the 14.4V nominal rail under sustained motor load and triggered overcurrent protection correctly when suction was blocked — no thermal runaway, no false low-battery shutdowns during normal operation.
- Dock charging habit for the VIVA: The VIVA auto-returns to its dock after every run, which means it can sit on continuous trickle charge for days. Remove the robot from the dock once the charge indicator shows full — leaving it docked indefinitely accelerates capacity fade in lithium cells faster than normal cycle wear.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the VIVA
This happens when the motor draws more current than the BMS expects under restricted airflow — not because the cell is empty. A partially clogged filter forces the motor to work harder, pulling current above the pack's rated discharge ceiling. The BMS reads this as a stress event and begins throttling motor voltage to protect the cell, which the robot interprets as low power. Clean or replace the VIVA filter first, then retest — if suction holds across a full run, the battery is not the cause.
VIVA motor cuts out mid-run then recovers after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a failed battery. When the robot transitions from hard floor to thick carpet, or when debris briefly blocks the intake, current draw spikes sharply. If the spike exceeds the pack's continuous discharge rating, the BMS opens the circuit and waits for current to drop before resetting — usually within three to five seconds. Check the brush roll for tangled hair or debris restricting rotation, clear the blockage, and confirm the filter is clean. If trips continue on a clear intake with a new battery, the motor bearings may be drawing excess current independently.
