Low battery warning on the DL2700 immediately after a new battery install
Some DL2700 units retain the low-battery flag in non-volatile memory and do not clear it automatically on power restore. The lock checks resting voltage at startup — if the battery sat in storage at reduced charge, the reading can fall below the lock's threshold even on a fresh unit. Confirm the replacement battery reads at or above 7.5V with a multimeter before installing. If the warning persists after a verified 7.5V install, remove the battery, wait 10 seconds, and reinsert to force a fresh voltage sample on boot.
Bluetooth not reconnecting to the Trilogy app after battery replacement
A full power interruption clears the active Bluetooth session on many Trilogy locks, and the lock does not automatically re-advertise to paired devices. Open the Trilogy app, navigate to the lock's device settings, and trigger a manual reconnect or re-pair from the app side — the lock will not initiate it. If the app cannot find the lock, hold the programming button for three seconds to wake the Bluetooth radio. Once paired, confirm the app shows the correct battery level before closing the door.
