VECTRON Mobilepro 3 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (B60)
This 3.7V, 3000mAh Li-Polymer battery replaces the original B60 cell in the VECTRON Mobilepro 3 and Mobilepro III payment terminals. It restores power to portable POS devices used for card transactions at retail counters, market stalls, and mobile merchant setups. Voltage and capacity match the original specification exactly.

- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through a full charge-discharge sequence on the Mobilepro 3 platform. The BMS accepted the handshake on first boot, and the charge IC entered top-off mode correctly at terminal voltage.
- First deployment tip: After installing, complete one full transaction cycle before putting the terminal into live use. The Mobilepro 3 maps battery capacity during normal operation and needs at least one complete power cycle to calibrate the on-screen charge indicator correctly.
Terminal not completing PCI boot sequence after battery swap
The Mobilepro 3 runs a PCI-compliant security check during every boot. This check draws a brief current spike that a new battery's BMS may flag as anomalous before the handshake is fully established. If the terminal stalls at the boot logo or restarts immediately, the BMS has not yet accepted the host device. Plug in the charging cable first, let the terminal reach the home screen once under charge, then boot again on battery power alone — that sequence completes the BMS initialisation.
Terminal won't power on after sitting unused in a drawer
Li-Polymer cells self-discharge at roughly 2–3% per month. A Mobilepro 3 left unused for several months can drop the cell below the BMS recovery threshold — typically under 2.5V — at which point the terminal appears completely dead. Connect the original charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing any buttons; the BMS uses a trickle pre-charge mode to bring the cell back above the 2.8V recovery floor. Once the charge LED activates and shows a steady state, the terminal will power on normally.
