This 3.85V 8000mAh (30.8Wh) lithium-polymer battery replaces part number MLP2678135-2P in the Verizon Ellipsis 10 HD tablet. It fits the QTAXIA1 board revision and the 32GB HD 4G variant sold through Verizon. Same voltage, same connector, same physical footprint at 145.20 × 141.20 × 2.80mm.

Ellipsis 10 HD shutting down at 15–25% remaining
The Ellipsis 10 HD runs a 10-inch display alongside persistent Wi-Fi — both draw simultaneously during streaming. The combined current draw causes voltage to sag faster than the fuel gauge predicts, and the protection circuit cuts power before the reported percentage reaches zero. This is a fuel gauge calibration gap, not a defective cell. Run one full discharge-to-shutoff cycle followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% and the shutoff threshold will stabilise at or below 5%.
Fast charging unavailable on the Ellipsis 10 HD after battery replacement
The Ellipsis 10 HD's charge IC negotiates charging rate during the first accepted charge cycle after a new cell is installed. Until that cycle completes, the device defaults to standard 5V charging as a safety fallback. This is normal behaviour — not a fault with the battery or the charger. Connect the original Verizon wall adapter, allow the first charge to reach 100% uninterrupted, and fast charging will be available from the next session onward.
