Vivo Y75 Replacement Battery - Replaces B-D5

$21.94In stock

Why this battery

  • Fits Vivo Y75, Y75 Dual SIM, and Y75a — replaces OEM part number B-D5.
  • This cell delivers 3.85V at 2900mAh, matching the original pack capacity for full day runtime on typical use patterns.
  • Connector seats into the stock battery slot with no adapter needed — polarity and locking tab align to factory spec.
  • We bench-tested this pack on a Y75 motherboard; the BMS accepted charge without fault codes and held voltage steady under screen-load discharge.
  • On first charge after install, disable fast charging for one full discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell curve before high-current charging resumes.

About this replacement

Vivo Y75 Series — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (B-D5)

This is a 3.85V, 2900mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery carrying OEM part number B-D5. It fits the Vivo Y75, Y75 Dual SIM, Y75 Dual SIM LTE, and Y75a. It replaces a degraded or damaged original cell to restore normal smartphone operation.

  • Y75 series compatibility: All listed Y75 variants share the same battery bay geometry, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The 76.30 × 59.14 × 4.02mm cell dimensions are consistent across the Y75, Y75 Dual SIM, Y75 Dual SIM LTE, and Y75a chassis.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the B-D5 cell through charge and discharge cycles on Y75 hardware. The BMS accepted the charge IC handshake without fault codes, and voltage held steady under simultaneous screen and modem load.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: Disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle after installation. This allows the fuel gauge IC to build an accurate discharge curve against the new cell before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated state.

Why the Vivo Y75 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The fuel gauge IC on the Y75 stores a discharge curve learned from the original cell over hundreds of cycles. When a new cell goes in, that stored curve no longer matches the actual cell chemistry, so the IC misreports state of charge. The fix is one full uninterrupted discharge down to automatic shutdown, followed by a full charge to 100%. After that cycle, the coulomb counter resets its baseline against the new cell and percentage readings stabilise.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the cell voltage drops sharply under load — typically during LTE data bursts or peak screen brightness — faster than the fuel gauge IC predicted. The phone interprets the voltage cliff as a critical low and cuts power to protect the SoC. It is not a faulty cell. Run one full calibration cycle first, then retest. If shutdown still occurs below 3.6V under modem load, check that no background apps are spiking current draw during the event.
