Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
The VG100 motor draws harder under blockage or a clogged filter. When airflow is restricted, current draw spikes and pack voltage sags under load — the motor loses power even though the battery indicator still shows charge remaining. This is a load-voltage issue, not a capacity issue. Clean or replace the filter first, then check whether the suction drop persists.
Motor cuts out briefly and then recovers during use
This is a BMS overcurrent trip. When sustained suction restriction forces the motor to draw beyond the pack's rated continuous current, the BMS interrupts output to protect the cells. The pack recovers within a few seconds once the current spike clears. Check the filter and the brush-roll for blockage — a clear airpath keeps motor current within the BMS threshold and stops the cutout cycle.
