Why the CTL6100WL drops wireless signal during an active drawing session
The CTL6100WL runs its Bluetooth radio and pressure sensor array simultaneously during active use. That combined draw pulls the cell voltage down faster than standby figures suggest. When the battery voltage sags below the radio's minimum threshold, the wireless link drops — even if the tablet still shows charge remaining. A degraded or partially discharged original battery accelerates this. A fresh cell at full 3.8V nominal voltage keeps both subsystems fed without sag-triggered disconnection.
Pressure sensitivity reading as flat or missing after a battery swap
If pressure levels register as all-or-nothing after replacing the battery, the tablet firmware is likely still reading the old battery's power state. The pressure sensor controller calibrates its output range against the voltage reference it first sees on power-up. Reset by powering the tablet fully off, fitting the charged replacement cell, then re-pairing via Bluetooth. Once re-paired, pressure sensitivity should resolve across all 4096 levels at normal operating voltage.
