WGI-1020 not completing boot sequence on a new battery
The WGI-1020 runs a startup verification check that reads cell voltage and BMS status before completing its boot cycle. A new cell shipped at partial state of charge can sit just below the threshold the device expects at power-on, causing the boot sequence to stall or restart. Charge the replacement battery fully before the first power-on. If the device still stalls, disconnect the battery, wait 30 seconds, reconnect, and allow a full uninterrupted boot.
Charge indicator not reaching 100% on first charge
On the first charge cycle with a new cell, the WGI-1020 charge IC applies a conservative current limit while it profiles the pack. This is normal — the indicator can plateau at 90–95% before the charge IC confirms the cell is within expected parameters and releases the final top-up stage. Do not interrupt the charge. Complete two full charge-discharge cycles and the indicator will reach 100% as the charge IC learns the pack's actual capacity curve.
