Wiko P130 / View Go — 3.85V Li-ion Replacement Battery (P130)
This is a 3.85V, 2500mAh (9.63Wh) Li-ion cell for the Wiko P130 and View Go smartphones. It replaces the original battery when capacity has dropped from repeated charge cycles or when the cell no longer holds a usable charge. Dimensions are 77.00 × 59.90 × 4.04mm — verify these against your existing cell before fitting.
- P130 and View Go compatibility: Both devices share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and 3.85V nominal voltage rail, so one cell covers both models without any modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the P130 platform and confirmed the BMS communicates correctly with the charge IC — no false full-charge cutoff, no immediate protection trip at load.
- First-cycle fuel gauge reset: On first use after fitting, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated state.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell
New cells have a steeper voltage curve than the worn cell the fuel gauge IC was calibrated to. Under modem or screen load, voltage drops sharply at around 3.6–3.7V, which the uncalibrated coulomb counter interprets as safe but the hardware protection circuit reads as undervoltage. The phone cuts power before the displayed percentage reaches zero. One full discharge-charge cycle with fast charging off corrects the coulomb counter's reference curve and eliminates most early shutdowns.
OS reporting wrong battery percentage after cell swap
The fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge model for the old cell. After fitting a new cell, that stored model no longer matches the actual voltage-to-capacity curve. The percentage shown on screen can jump, stall, or read higher than the real state of charge. Drain the phone fully until it powers off, then charge uninterrupted to 100% with fast charging disabled — one complete cycle resets the IC's reference and restores accurate percentage reporting.
