Wiko View 4 / Power U10 — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (FHPV476791P)
This is a 3.85V 4650mAh (17.9Wh) lithium-polymer cell for the Wiko View 4 and Power U10 smartphones. It replaces part number FHPV476791P and fits the original battery compartment at 87.90 × 66.85 × 4.70mm. Swap it in when your original cell can no longer hold a charge through a normal day.
- View 4 and Power U10 platform fit: Both handsets share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell covers either device without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the Wiko charge IC at full current and confirmed BMS communication, cutoff at 4.35V charge termination, and low-voltage protection triggering correctly below 3.0V.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell, preventing erratic percentage readings early on.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Wiko View 4
This is a voltage cliff, not a capacity problem. When the modem transmits or the screen brightness spikes, current draw pulls the cell voltage below the BMS cutoff threshold faster than the fuel gauge can track it. An aged original cell cannot sustain voltage under that load, and the phone shuts off even though the reported percentage looks safe. A fresh cell at full capacity holds voltage above the 3.4V cutoff during those peaks and eliminates the sudden drop.
Phone won't power on after sitting in storage with a flat battery
If a lithium-polymer cell discharges below approximately 2.5V per cell during extended storage, the BMS enters lockout mode to prevent further damage. In this state the phone will not respond to a charger or the power button. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. If the BMS recovers, the charge IC will trickle current into the cell until it reaches the 3.0V threshold needed to boot.
