Winland D-011-0183 / EAPro Gateway — 7.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (57685-101)
This 7.4V 3400mAh Li-ion cell replaces the OEM battery in the Winland D-011-0183, EnviroAlert Professional EAPro Gateway, and EAPro-GTWY environmental monitoring systems. It maintains backup power for sensors, alert logic, and notification outputs when mains power drops. Capacity and voltage match the OEM spec exactly — 3400mAh, 25.16Wh, 7.4V nominal.
- D-011-0183 and EAPro Gateway compatibility: All three fit models share the same 7.4V two-cell Li-ion architecture, the same connector pinout, and the same BMS handshake protocol — so one cell covers the full gateway platform without any wiring modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge, float, and simulated mains-loss events on the EAPro Gateway. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, held float charge correctly, and triggered alert outputs as expected under backup load.
- Post-installation float charge window: Do not run a zone or sensor diagnostic test immediately after fitting this cell. The panel requires 24–48 hours on float charge before its internal battery monitor will report full capacity — testing earlier will produce a false low-battery fault on the panel display.

The D-011-0183 and EAPro Gateway use a voltage-based battery monitor that reads cell state during float charge, not immediately after installation. A freshly installed cell at partial charge will read below the panel's acceptance threshold — typically under 8.0V — triggering a low-battery fault even though the cell itself is fine. The panel needs the charger circuit to bring the cell up to full float, which takes 24–48 hours on a powered system. Once the cell reaches the float voltage target, the fault clears automatically without any panel reset.
Alarm losing stored programming during a power outage after battery swap
If the EAPro Gateway loses its configuration settings during a mains outage shortly after a battery replacement, the new cell had not yet been fully accepted by the panel's backup circuit. The gateway only draws on the backup cell once it has completed a conditioning cycle — a cell installed less than 48 hours before the outage may not yet be online in the backup circuit. Restore mains power, allow a full 48-hour conditioning period, then simulate a mains-loss event to confirm the backup circuit is active. The panel should hold programming and sensor mappings through the outage once the cell is fully conditioned.
