It replaces OEM part numbers 7264060 and 7264090, restoring autonomous mowing cycles after the original pack degrades. The battery slots into the RR 3000's battery bay and communicates directly with the mower's onboard BMS.

This pack matches that voltage rail and connector pinout, so the mower's control board recognises the battery and runs scheduled mowing cycles without fault codes.

Why the RR 3000 stops mid-cycle and returns to dock early
The RR 3000's control board monitors cell voltage in real time during mowing. When the battery voltage sags under load — typically when the blade motor hits dense grass or an incline — the BMS may read a transient low-voltage event and trigger an early return-to-dock command. This is not a fault with the dock or the boundary wire. On an aged or partially depleted pack, voltage sag becomes more pronounced because internal cell resistance increases as capacity degrades. A fresh pack at full charge holds the voltage rail stable enough that the control board does not trigger premature dock returns.

If the dock LED shows no charge activity after fitting a new battery, the most common cause is cell voltage sitting below the dock station's charge acceptance threshold — typically below 6V for a 7.4V two-cell pack. This happens when a replacement pack has self-discharged during storage. Connect the battery to a compatible external Li-ion charger set to 7.4V and run a single low-current charge cycle until voltage reaches at least 7.0V. Once the pack is above the acceptance threshold, re-dock the mower and the station should begin its normal charge sequence.
