Xiaomi Roborock 1C — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BRR-2P4S-2600S)
This is a 14.4V Li-ion replacement battery rated at 5200mAh (74.88Wh) for the Xiaomi Roborock 1C robot vacuum. It fits the STYTJ01ZHM, SKV4093GL, and XM2000021 units. It replaces the original BRR-2P4S-2600S and P1904-4S2P-MM packs directly.
- Roborock 1C platform compatibility: All listed models share the same 4S2P cell configuration, 14.4V nominal rail, and BMS handshake protocol. The connector pinout and communication line are identical across the STYTJ01ZHM and SKV4093GL variants, so the battery seats and communicates without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on a Roborock 1C unit. The BMS responded correctly to the dock charger handshake, balanced across all four cell groups, and tripped overcurrent protection at the expected threshold under a simulated motor stall condition.
- Dock charging habit for the 1C: The Roborock 1C is programmed to return to dock automatically after every run. If the dock remains powered at all times, the battery sits in a continuous trickle state. Unplug the dock once charging is complete, or use a timer outlet set to cut power after three hours.
Suction dropping mid-clean before the battery indicator shows low
The Roborock 1C adjusts motor speed in response to surface resistance, and a clogged filter forces the motor to draw above its rated current. When that sustained draw exceeds the BMS overcurrent threshold, the pack reduces output before the cell voltage actually drops far enough to trigger a low-battery alert. The vacuum appears to lose suction with a "full" battery because the fault is current, not capacity. Remove and clean the HEPA filter first — if suction recovers immediately, the battery is not the cause.
Replacement battery not recognised by the dock charger
The Roborock 1C dock uses a data pin on the battery connector to verify pack identity before initiating a charge cycle. If the replacement BMS does not respond to that handshake correctly, the dock LED may show no charge or blink an error code. Seat the battery firmly — a partial connection on the data pin is the most common cause of a failed handshake. If the problem persists after reseating, check that the connector pins on the vacuum chassis are clean and unbent; a bent data pin on the chassis side will block recognition regardless of the battery.
