About this replacement
Xiaomi MI-ONE Plus — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BM10)
This is a 3.7V, 1600mAh Li-ion battery for the Xiaomi MI-ONE Plus, M1, and MI-ONE smartphones. It replaces the original BM10 cell when charge no longer holds or the device shuts down unexpectedly. Dimensions are 63.78 × 40.94 × 6.03mm — verify against your existing cell before fitting.
- MI-ONE / M1 / MI-ONE Plus compatibility: All three models use the same BM10 cell on a shared 3.7V rail with an identical connector and BMS handshake profile. One battery fits across the full family without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the MI-ONE platform. The BMS responded correctly at both low-voltage cutoff and full-charge termination, with no false trips during the test sequence.
- RAM data protection before swap: Sync all open files and application state to a host computer before removing the battery. The MI-ONE Plus holds active data in RAM powered directly by the main cell — a full power loss clears that state instantly.
MI-ONE Plus stuck on boot screen after battery replacement
A freshly installed BM10 cell shipped in storage state will sit below the minimum voltage the bootloader needs to complete POST. The device powers on, reaches the boot screen, then stalls or reboots in a loop. Connect the phone to a charger for at least 15 minutes before attempting to boot. Once the cell reaches approximately 3.5V, the boot sequence completes normally.
Wireless sync dropping or failing after fitting the new cell
The MI-ONE's Wi-Fi radio draws a sharp current spike when it first associates with an access point. If the battery is below full charge, that spike causes a momentary voltage sag that trips the BMS or resets the radio stack. Charge the battery fully before running your first sync session. A confirmed full charge reads 4.2V at the cell terminals.
