The Pad 6S Pro 12.4 draws heavily when the 12.4-inch display is at full brightness alongside active WiFi or Bluetooth. The tablet shuts off to protect the cell, not because capacity is low. Fast charging not available after fitting the BP50
Xiaomi's proprietary fast-charge protocol requires the charge IC and BMS to complete a successful negotiation handshake before fast charge is enabled. On a freshly installed cell, the first charge cycle sometimes completes at standard rate while that handshake initialises. Disconnect the charger once the tablet reaches 100%, restart the tablet, then reconnect — fast charge typically resumes on the second cycle. If it does not, confirm the charger output matches the Pad 6S Pro 12.4's rated input voltage before swapping anything else.
