This is a 7.4V, 5000mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the XTOOL X100 Pad 2 and X100 Pad 2 Pro automotive diagnostic scanners. It fits both the standard and Auto Key Programmer variants of the X100 Pad 2 line. The OEM part number is PL3769122-2S.
- X100 Pad 2 and Pad 2 Pro compatibility: Both models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The 125.80 × 66.00 × 9.00mm cell fits without modification, and the BMS negotiates charge and discharge thresholds identically across all four listed variants.

Why the X100 Pad 2 refuses to boot after a battery swap
A freshly installed Li-Polymer cell can sit below the X100 Pad 2's minimum boot voltage if it has self-discharged during storage. The scanner's BMS will not attempt to power the main board until cell voltage clears approximately 3.2V per cell, which is 6.4V across the pack. If the unit shows no response at the power button, connect the OEM charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes before pressing power again. Once the BMS detects voltage above the boot threshold, normal startup resumes.
WiFi and Bluetooth dropping mid-diagnostic session
The X100 Pad 2 runs its wireless radios off the same battery rail as the display and processor. When a degraded cell can no longer hold voltage under combined load, the radio stack is the first subsystem the power manager sheds. You will see the connection drop while the battery indicator still reads 20–30%, because the displayed percentage is calculated from a worn discharge curve, not the actual cell voltage. Replacing the cell restores the voltage headroom the radio needs to stay live. After fitting this battery, recalibrate the indicator by running one full charge-to-discharge cycle before relying on the percentage display.
