This is a 10V 2500mAh sealed lead acid replacement battery for the ZOLL AED Pro Defibrillator and compatible ZOLL PD series devices. It replaces OEM part numbers PD4410, 8000-0299-01, B11099, 8000-0299-10, and 110087. The battery powers defibrillation delivery and CPR guidance functions during cardiac emergencies.
- AED Pro and PD series compatibility: The AED Pro, PD 1400, PD 1600, and PD 1700 share the same 10V sealed lead acid architecture and connector interface. The BMS in each device reads cell voltage and internal resistance at boot — this battery meets those thresholds across the platform.

Self-test failure after battery swap on the AED Pro
The AED Pro runs an automated self-test at startup that checks battery voltage, charge state, and internal resistance against stored OEM thresholds. A new sealed lead acid cell that has not completed a full charge-discharge cycle may sit just below the resistance threshold the device expects. This is a BMS learn cycle issue, not a defective battery. Charge the replacement fully, allow one complete discharge and recharge cycle, then re-run the self-test — the device should clear the fault and confirm ready status.
Low battery alarm triggers immediately after confirmed full charge
This happens when the device reads cell voltage during the post-charge rest period before surface charge dissipates. Sealed lead acid cells hold an elevated surface voltage immediately after charge that drops to true resting voltage within 30 to 60 minutes. The AED Pro's alarm threshold is calibrated to resting voltage, not peak charge voltage. Wait 60 minutes after charge completes, then power the device on — resting voltage on a healthy cell should read above 10.2V and the alarm will not retrigger.
